Dr Adrian Tang graduated at Monash University in 1995 and has been practising medicine in a wide variety of disciplines since. His initial interest was in surgery and he was a Director of Emergency at Werribee Hospital for several years before pursuing his passion in general practice. Adrian first joined Blackburn Clinic in 2002 and is a Principal of the practice. His love for travel has spurred him on to specialise in travel medicine.
Adrian’s other interest is music, and he is an accomplished player of the piano and violin. He has been blessed with two fun loving children who, like their dad, are avid supporters of the St.Kilda Football club.

Dr Tang’s fees are guided by the AMA recommended rates. Pensioners, Health Care Card holders, children and full time students under 21 will be charged a substantially discounted fee, with their out of pocket gap reduced by 50% for standard consultations.
Veterans’ Affairs card-holders are bulk-billed at all times.

Missed Appointment fee: Dr Tang may charge a fee if you miss your appointment, and do not cancel with at least one hours’ notice.
Ear Micro Suction: This appointment type must be booked by our reception team to ensure the appropriate equipment is available. The patient must be assessed by Dr Tang (or any other GP who consults from Blackburn Clinic) to ensure suitability of ear anatomy and to ensure appropriate ear drop preparation. It will take approximately 15 minutes (one ear) or 30 minutes (both ears).
