Dr. Chris Ineson is an experienced GP dedicated to delivering high quality care. With a surgical background in the UK, he specialised in General Practice and relocated to Australia in 2005, seeking new challenges and opportunities.
Joining Blackburn Clinic in October 2021, he has a special interest in skin cancer checks and treatments, general health checks, chronic disease management, and minor injury care. Dr. Ineson also provides comprehensive travel advice and vaccinations, including yellow fever vaccination ensuring the safety of international travellers.
Outside of work, he enjoys kayaking, cycling, and quality time with his family.

Dr Ineson’s fees are guided by the AMA recommended rates. Pensioners, Health Care Card holders, children and full time students under 21 will be charged a substantially discounted fee, with their out of pocket gap reduced by 50% for standard consultations.
Veterans’ Affairs card-holders are bulk-billed at all times.

Missed Appointment fee: Dr Ineson may charge a fee if you miss your appointment, and do not cancel with at least one hours’ notice.

Ear Micro Suction: This appointment type must be booked by our reception team to ensure the appropriate equipment is available. The patient must be assessed by Dr Ineson (or any other GP who consults from Blackburn Clinic) to ensure suitability of ear anatomy and to ensure appropriate ear drop preparation. It will take approximately 15 minutes (one ear) or 30 minutes (both ears).
Weight Management appointments
30 minutes for initial appointment, and subsequent appointments are 15 minutes. Weight Management appointments have an out of pocket gap of $85.15 (or $52.55 for Concession patients) after Medicare rebates.
