Dr Jasdeep Sandhu joined the Blackburn Clinic team in March 2016 and is one of the Practice Principals. She enjoys all aspects of general practice, with special interests in women’s health, adolescent health, mental health, and weight management. Jasdeep is a dedicated and compassionate doctor who is committed to providing evidence-based, holistic care tailored to each patient.
She is also an RACGP accredited GP Supervisor, actively involved in training and mentoring the next generation of general practitioners.
Outside of work, Jasdeep enjoys travelling with her husband and two boys. She also finds balance through Pilates, hot yoga, gardening, and walking the family dog.
Jasdeep is fluent in English, Punjabi, Hindi and Urdu.

Dr Sandhu’s fees are guided by the AMA recommended rates. Pensioners, Health Care Card holders, children and full time students under 21 will be charged a substantially discounted fee, with their out of pocket gap reduced by 50% for standard consultations.
Veterans’ Affairs card-holders are bulk-billed at all times.

Missed Appointment fee: Dr Sandhu may charge a fee if you miss your appointment, and do not cancel with at least one hours’ notice.

Ear Micro Suction: This appointment type must be booked by our reception team to ensure the appropriate equipment is available. The patient must be assessed by Dr Sandhu (or any other GP who consults from Blackburn Clinic) to ensure suitability of ear anatomy and to ensure appropriate ear drop preparation. It will take approximately 15 minutes (one ear) or 30 minutes (both ears).
Healthy Eating appointments
These are suitable for patients with eating disorders or other concerns about their dietary intake. The initial Healthy Eating appointment is 30 minutes, and subsequent appointments are 15 minutes. Healthy Eating appointments have an out of pocket gap of $85.15 (or $52.55 for Concession patients) after Medicare rebates. Please phone reception to book for this appointment type.
Weight Management
30 minutes for first two appointments, subsequent appointments are 15 minutes. First two Weight Management appointments have an out of pocket gap of $85.15 (or $52.55 for Concession patients) after Medicare rebates. Follow up weight management appointments should be booked as Standard Appointments and will attract a standard consultation fee.
