Fees charged by Dr Yashar Zadeh –

Dr Zadeh’s fees are guided by the AMA recommended rates. Pensioners, Health Care Card holders, children and full time students under 21 will be charged a substantially discounted fee, with their out of pocket gap reduced by 50% for standard consultations.
Veterans’ Affairs card-holders are bulk-billed at all times.

Missed Appointment fee: Dr Zadeh may charge a fee if you miss your appointment, and do not cancel with at least one hours’ notice.

Appointments are 15 minutes and will attract a standard consultation fee.
Complete Health Checks
An inclusive in-depth check suitable for all patients aged 35-65 years. This gender inclusive whole body checkup comprises a heart risk evaluation and ECG, respiratory assessment, diabetes check, lung function test, skin cancer check, eye check, hearing screening test, risk evaluation and gender specific checks (breast, cervical screening, prostate) as appropriate. Ear Micro Suction: This appointment type must be booked by our reception team to ensure the appropriate equipment is available. The patient must be assessed by Dr Zadeh (or any other GP who consults from Blackburn Clinic) to ensure suitability of ear anatomy and to ensure appropriate ear drop preparation. It will take approximately 15 minutes (one ear) or 30 minutes (both ears).
Travel consults
Travel to Africa and South America is booked as 30 minutes, while other destinations are booked as 15 minute appointments. All travel consultations attract the standard out of pocket GAP amount.

Appointments are 15 minutes and will attract a standard consultation fee.
